Software Engineer, Simulation

ISEE is seeking a full-time Software Engineer to join our team to develop an internal simulation testing infrastructure. The ideal candidate has several years of experience gained by working in industry.Role responsibilities:Design and develop an internal simulation infrastructure that allows large-scale training and testing of our AI algorithms in a virtual environment, including:Models of vehicle dynamics, sensors, different parts of operational environment, and other agentsTooling allowing post-run analysis and visualization of resultsTooling supporting scenario creation and maintenanceTooling supporting scalable deployment in cloud environments and CI/CD integrationQualifications:Degree in Computer ScienceExcellent Software Engineering skillsExcellent Python and C++ programming skillsExperience with development of complex multi-language multi-platform software systemsPassionate about self-driving vehicles and real-world robotics solutions.Strong presentation and communication skillsPreferred:2+ yrs industrial experience developing robotics simulators, computer games or similar software involving creation of virtual environmentsExperience with CI/CD pipelines, virtualization and deployment in cloud environments (e.g. AWS)Experience with front-end/back-end developmentTheoretical background in modelling and simulation, AI and robotics
