Job DetailsDescriptionPrimary Duties Include: Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic sports and activity-related injuries, focusing on shoulders, elbows and knees. Working in our Huntsville, Madison, and Decatur office locations on a rotational basis Running concurrent and independent clinics Referring for diagnostic treatments/tests Evaluating x-ray, CT scan, and MRI results Ordering and reviewing lab results Providing clear, concise, and accurate information in EMR Demonstrating strong teamwork Using EMR and other computer systems efficiently Assisting in surgeryAdditional Details Minimal call duties and weekend obligations This is an office and surgical-based position with a typical five-day work weekCandidate Requirements NCCPA-certified or CRNP with First Assist Highly self-motivated and driven with a strong work ethic Able to work independently Confident in making clinical decisions and managing patient care Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with the orthopedic surgeon and healthcare team Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities Experience or interest in sports medicine and orthopaedics is a plus but not mandatory Desire for continued learning Compassionate and patient-centered with good interpersonal skills The Location:The primary work locations are in Huntsville, Madison, and Decatur, Alabama.
