Reports to the Accounting ManagerSPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform daily banking duties as assigned and monitor cash balances.Reconcile bank statements to general ledger.Oversee sales tax calculations and remittance.Reconcile balance sheet accounts.Prepaid expenses, accrued expenses and other monthly journal entries.Timely monthly close of the financial statementsEffective communication with the Accounting Manager on P&L status and bank reportingPreparation of audit schedules and completion of other projects assigned.Complete month and end-year processesProcess license renewals for all locations.Answer questions and resolve issues presented by internal and external customers.Protect organization's value by keeping information confidentialNote: This company participates in the E-verify program. RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in accountingStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel3 years of accounting experience preferredDetail oriented with the ability to multi-task.Strong written and verbal communication skillsCPA license preferred.
