Senior Manager, Risk Analytics & Decision Science - (US Remote)At Greenbox Capital, we help small businesses thrive by giving them fast, accessible funding. As a Senior Manager, Risk Analytics & Decision Science, you'll play a key role in shaping the credit strategies that power our business.
You'll drive results by building and optimizing decisioning frameworks, improving model performance, and uncovering insights that directly influence approval, pricing, and portfolio outcomes. Your work will directly support our growth by making our credit decisions smarter, faster, and more scalable.
This role reports to the VP of Credit Risk & Analytics and leads a team within the Risk Analytics function.

Decisioning Frameworks & Analytics Driving approval strategy, segmentation, and portfolio optimization
Model Performance & Optimization Improving model accuracy and business impact
Data Strategy & Vendor Evaluation Identifying and integrating high-value data sources
Cross-Functional Impact Supporting underwriting, finance, and product with actionable insights

What You've Done Before:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
5 10 years of experience in credit risk analytics, preferably in small business lending, non- prime, or high- risk environments
2+ years of leadership experience managing and developing teams
Proven success building or enhancing modern credit decisioning frameworks
Demonstrated impact driving business outcomes through analytics and modeling
Tools and Expertise You'll Bring:
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel
Solid understanding of statistical modeling and model performance evaluation techniques
Experience working with large datasets and credit decisioning systems
Familiarity with modern data platforms ( e. g., Snowflake, Databricks) and BI tools
Strong understanding of credit underwriting processes, policy design, and segmentation strategies
