Job description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Systems Support Associate with strong project management skills to join our team in Canada. In this role, you will be instrumental in unifying processes across various communities within Capgemini, ensuring efficient and flawless finance operations in North America. This is a unique opportunity to work with a world-class organization and make a significant impact on our operational success while driving key projects and initiatives to completion. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role, with the possibility of full-time conversion. Location - Toronto KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Lead and manage finance-related projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and timely delivery of key milestones Develop and maintain accurate process documentation, ensuring completeness and accessibility. Provide comprehensive support across finance and reporting systems and communities impacting NA Finance Operations, including North America Accounting Center teams, HR, Payroll, Procurement, Capgemini Group Finance, and Group IT. Collaborate with the Finance Community to identify, address, and resolve system issues, coordinating closely with key stakeholders. Maintain the SharePoint platform, ensuring smooth operations and proper access controls. Contribute to and lead special projects, process improvement initiatives, and systems enhancements to optimize finance operations. Perform other related duties as required. Occasional travel may be required. Required Skills Proven project management experience with a track record of successfully leading complex projects from initiation to completion, ideally within a finance or systems environment. At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Oracle R12 or SAP. Deep understanding of finance operations, including financial close, forecasting, budgeting, and revenue recognition processes. Strong knowledge of finance system linkages and workflows, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve system issues. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; familiarity with Visio and MS Project is a plus. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. Highly organized, with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
