As a third-generation family business, we take pride in products and our employees.We are looking for Assemblers who are willing to learn, motivated and work well in a fast-paced environment for our Des Plaines, IL facility.Job Summary: The torque wrench assembler assembles, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms. To be successful in this role you must be able to perform the job duties below satisfactorily with a positive attitude.** Willing to train, but some Assembly experience preferred.Job Duties and Responsibilities:The torque wrench assembler, assembles, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs, as necessary.Ability to transition to other departments as needed for business needs and cross trainingJob Requirements:Some Assembly experience, preferredGood hand-eye coordinationMechanically inclined and interestsWorks well in a team environmentMust be physically capable of lifting to 25 lbs., with proper lifting techniquePositive attitudeHigh School Diploma or equivalentNote: This job summary does not cover or contain a comprehensive list of duties.
