Maintenance Technician

Job Description Position: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Saint Louis, MOPay: $33 to $36/hourExperience: 2 to 4 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/ Electrician; or equivalent combination of professional education and experienceEducation: High School diploma or GED equivalentType: Full-time; Direct HireSchedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pmProRecruiters is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!Job Description:Detects malfunctions of machines or equipment, diagnoses problems, or repairs the machineDismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired partsCleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machineryLays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipmentRepairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishmentAbility to weld stainless and regular steelInstalls, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllersSets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and toolsRoutine facility maintenance to include light plumbing, painting, removal and installation of fixtures, and other general items as needed.Position Requirements:Safely drive a forkliftFollow specific instructions and adhere to safety/quality guidelines as well as company policiesTravel required up to 25%Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.In-depth knowledge of complex mechanical systems, industrial electricity, hydraulics, and pneumaticsRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Compute rate, ratio, and percent as needed for the job.Manage problems involving several variables in standardized situations.ProRecruiters is part of Array Corporation, the leading technology-enabled workforce solutions company whose mission is to fix how work is bought, sold and delivered to enable access to the American Dream.We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
