We are champions for better health, for those who need us most.Position SummaryThe Senior Database Developer is responsible for the development, implementation and testing of data extraction, transformation, and load programs for large database projects. This role will act as a subject matter expert for operation data, working with the lead architects to understand their vision and develop based on the high-level direction. The Database Developer will work with internal project delivery teams to design solutions and implement programs according to the requirements and timelines specified.ResponsibilitiesPerform transformation and loading of data according to the business specificationsDefine, prepare, execute and implement data validation and unit testing methods to ensure data qualityPerform enhancements and bug fixes as requiredResearch issues by writing ad hoc queries to identify root causeTrack work progress and report status via issue tracking systemPerform other related duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor’s degree is required5-10 years of experience developing ETL processes in Microsoft SSIS5-10 years of experience developing SQL queries and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL ServerExperience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred)Health care experience is preferredSkillsExcellent verbal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsDedicated, hardworking employee who achieves maximum efficiency and productivityStrong knowledge of domain-based design, data modeling and data structuresAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentTravelNo TravelAmericans with Disability SpecificationsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
