Our client is a provider of fresh, ready-to-eat food solutions serving grocery retail and other high-traffic foodservice environments nationwide. The company is well positioned for continued growth and is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to drive continued expansion.This role leads business development efforts focused on winning new grocery retail accounts and expanding existing partnerships. The individual will build senior-level relationships, drive the full sales cycle, and leverage customer insights to inform commercial strategy. They will partner cross-functionally to ensure strong execution, profitability, and long-term account growth.Qualifications10+ years of business development, sales, account leadership, or commercial executive experience, ideally at the VP level or aboveStrong track record selling into grocery retail, particularly within deli, fresh prepared foods, foodservice, or related in-store conceptsEstablished relationships with regional and national grocery retailers, with the ability to engage senior decision-makersExperience leading complex, cross-functional sales efforts from pursuit through executionStrong commercial acumen, including negotiation skills and the ability to identify growth opportunities through customer insightsExecutive presence with a collaborative, resilient leadership styleWillingness to travel up to 50% as neededIf you or someone you know would be interested in discussing this opportunity, please contact Eli Jones at eli@curtisfood.com
