DescriptionHUNTER ROBERTS CONSTRUCTION GROUPJob DescriptionTitle: Project Manager Level 3Department: New York OperationsReports To: Project Manager 4/5 or Senior Project Manager 6/7KnowledgeReads and understands Site Safety and logistics plans.Begins to learn and manage permitting and violation processesUnderstands various insurance requirements based as neededUnderstands QA/QC requirements specially for assigned tradesUnderstands purchasing process and how to prioritizeReview shop drawings vs contract drawings to ensure they meet project requirementsReview 3rd party equipment drawings to ensure they coordinate with contract drawingsRead and understand project scheduleFull understanding of PCI's up to and including impact on budget and budget reportUnderstanding of monthly financial reportingUnderstands ICRA standards for healthcare constructionBegin to understand MEP systemsSkillsManage at least 6 specialty partners depending on sizeLead weekly specialty partner meetingsWorks with team to promote IIF CultureIdentifies and work with superintendent to address any field related issuesRead, review, and escalate any potential concerns or questions to the Project ManagerAbility to discuss safety concerns with workersPerform quality and consistent safety inspectionsConfidence to stop work if necessary and know who to escalate to for assistanceAttend, present and lead discussions on scopes of work under their management to both internal and external partnersTake, organize, and distribute clear meeting minutesManage permit, insurance logs and all involved processesRequest, receive and review contractor onboarding documentsCreate and complete leveling sheets for trade buy outsDraft specialty partner specific Exhibit A Scopes of WorkTimely input and assistance with monthly report information and updatesManage, understand, prioritize, and communicate the submittal schedule including accuracy with ROJ datesManage, understand, prioritize, communicate, and question RFI'sManage change order processResponsible for close out process for assigned trades including ability to close NCR's and inspectionsAbilityExhibits leadership skillsAttention to detailAbility to be work with a teamAble to communicate and interact with internal project team and external specialty partnersAble to communicate with hospital staff when necessaryMinimum Requirements3-5 Years of Construction experience1-2 Years of experience with healthcare constructionBachelors DegreeSST card requiredAttend and retain knowledge from all assigned trainingsHunter Roberts Construction Group is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
