With a strong focus on patient care and operational excellence, they are seeking a skilled Billing Supervisor to lead their revenue cycle team and support continued growth. Job Description The Primary Care Billing Supervisor will oversee daily billing operations, ensuring accurate and timely claim submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up. This individual will lead a team of billing professionals, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with payer guidelines and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day billing operations for primary care services, including claims submission, payment posting, and A/R follow-up Lead, mentor, and develop billing staff, providing ongoing training and performance management Monitor key revenue cycle metrics and identify opportunities to improve cash flow and reduce denials Review and resolve complex billing issues, including denied or underpaid claims Ensure compliance with payer regulations, coding guidelines, and HIPAA standards Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to improve documentation and billing accuracy Oversee reconciliation processes and ensure timely and accurate reporting Identify payer trends and implement corrective actions to improve reimbursement Qualifications 3+ years of medical billing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role Strong knowledge of primary care billing, coding, and reimbursement processes Experience with EMR/EHR systems Proven experience managing A/R, denials, and payment posting workflows Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Additional Details Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Employment Type: Full-time Location: Onsite in San Antonio, TX Perks Competitive compensation package Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off and holidays Opportunity to lead a high-impact team within a growing organization Stable, team-oriented work environment
