This position is responsible for developing efficient manufacturing processes and creating accurate cost estimates for incoming projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multiple manufacturing operations, with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Engineering/EstimatingDevelop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing projectsCollaborate with programing, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with specificationsPrepare process documentation including work instructions, routings, and control plansAnalyze customer drawings, specifications, and technical documents to determine production requirementsBe able to learn and be proficient in the cost processing software to calculate labor, materials, and overhead to develop accurate cost to the customerWork with purchasing and production to gather current and past cost dataPrepare and present quotes and proposals to management and/or customersMaintain and update estimates, cost, and records of historical quotesQualificationsMinimum of 15 years of CNC and manual machining experienceStrong analytical and mathematical skillsExcellent communication and project management abilitiesProficiency Microsoft Office, CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and ERP/MRP systemsExperience in process engineering/estimating role within a manufacturing environment is a plusFamiliarity in CNC programing is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experienceComprehensive benefits package (health, dental, 401k, etc.)
