Come join us on this journey to create a brighter, more sustainable future in the Columbus area.Job Summary: Illuminate USA is seeking a QMS Administrator to provide administrative and operational support to the Quality Management Systems (QMS) team. This role is critical to supporting the organization's efforts to strengthen document control, change management, auditing processes, and overall quality system effectiveness.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate across multiple departments to support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with quality management standards.Reports to: QMS ManagerEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Support the QMS team in collecting, organizing, and formatting documents from multiple departments for submission into the document control system.Assist employees across the organization with locating, creating, updating, and approving controlled documents.Coordinate and communicate internal audit schedules and distribute audit results under the direction of QMS leadership.Participate as a member of the internal audit team, supporting compliance, document control, and process audits.Assist in maintaining and improving QMS software functionality and user experience.Support QMS engineers and specialists with initiatives related to non-conformance reporting, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and change management.Provide administrative and logistical support during external audits.Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to the organization's quality management system.Provide additional administrative and project support to the Quality team as needed.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in science, business management, or a related field3+ years of experience in an administrative, quality assurance/quality control, or operations role.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office tools such as Adobe and Visio.Experience using QMS software such as Intelex, QT9, Compliant Pro, ComplianceQuest, or similar platforms.Experience participating in or supporting internal audits.Ability to collaborate across departments and support cross-functional quality initiatives.Preferred Qualifications:Foundational knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or experience working within a formal quality management system.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis role is performed on-site in an office environment at our Pataskala, Ohio facility.Must be able to:Sit and work at a computer for extended periods.Stand, walk, and move throughout the facility as needed.Use standard office equipment (computer, phone, copier, scanner).May occasionally support early morning, evening, or weekend meetings based on scheduling needsPreferred Qualifications:Foundational knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or experience working within a formal quality management system.At Illuminate USA, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
