Food and Beverage AdminThe Food and Beverage Admin will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. This position will handle various administrative tasks to support our Food and Beverage team.Our team members can gain real-world work experience, develop skills that will further their careers, and make new friends along the way! Soak up amazing benefits while getting paid!Responsibilities:Oversee the follow up process with new hires regarding initial training, onboarding, uniform, proper certification, and training completion documentationEnsure employees are assigned to proper divisions in Time and LaborAssist in the Invoice process; scanning, filing, and ensuring the audit document is updatedAnswer or place phone calls, deliver messages, send, and respond to emails on behalf of the F&B departmentMonitor incoming cabana emails, texts, phone calls and answer or forward as requiredAssist with corrective action forms: keeping up with point system, generating forms and delivering to HRMaintain office supply inventories in office and park locations and restock as neededKeep food location binders stocked with stand specific documentsUpdate and maintain databases such as master staff list, certification, contact lists, and team member informationTerminate employees out of Time and Labor as needed throughout the seasonGenerating schedule templates and support F&B district coordinators in overseeing scheduling and timekeeping as neededUpload waste log and inventory data into a spreadsheetMonitor and use office equipment and materials (computers, printers, copiers, physical files, etc.)Report any problems with office equipment; help resolve the issues if possibleHelp leadership to immediately resolve and mediate team member complaintsGreet team members/vendors and direct them to the correct leadershipAssist in a Food and Beverage outlet as needed and use the Point-of-Sale systemQualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderMust have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's permit and TABC Certificate. If you do not have a Typhoon Texas approved and current Food Handler's Permit and/or TABC Certification, you will be required to obtain one at your expenseProficient in Microsoft Office 365, specifically Word and ExcelHigh school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, associate's degree preferredAble to work 40 hours per weekMust be open and willing to learn new thingsMust be flexible, adaptable, and a team playerUnderstands and supports the Typhoon Texas CultureUses excellent judgment and maintains confidentialityIdentifies problems and works quickly to find solutionsWorks effectively with others, on all levels, in a positive and professional mannerHas excellent communication skills which include the ability to use clear, concise, and grammatically correct written and oral languageMust be willing to complete all tasks given by Typhoon Texas managementMay be required to stand for prolonged periodsMay be exposed to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, wind, or rainMust be able to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environmentAble to lift 50 pounds
