Title: Handyman/Maintenance WorkerLocation: West Nyack, NYSalary: $25.00 per hour Benefits: Package available when hired permanentlyWork Schedule: Tuesday through Thursday 11:30am-8pm, Friday & Saturday 12:30pm-9pmPosition Type: Temp-to-HireOverview: Large retail location seeks Handyman/Maintenance worker to join their crew of 7 associates. The ideal candidates is comfortable with a range of building maintenance related tasks, and is not currently working so that they are able to accept the role on a Temp-to-Hire basis.Responsibilities: Routine handyman type repairsLight HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical type fixesLight carpentry, painting, and other related tasksWork safely, neatly, and ensure quality of work performedWork alongside third parties on jobs that require advanced workWork alongside maintenance team members on larger projectsOperate tools and equipment safelyRequirements: 1+ year of handyman or maintenance type experienceBi-Lingual English/Spanish is preferred, but not requiredComfortable working with basic hand and power toolsAbility to bend, stand, lift, etc. for extended periods of timeReliable, attentive, and detail oriented to complete jobs correctlyAble to listen and follow instructions from supervisor
