Project Manager - Healthcare / K12 Construction

Project Manager Healthcare K12 ConstructionOur client is a mid-size GC that has a strong background of healthcare and institutional construction projects throughout the Southeast of the US (Florida, Georgia and the Carolina's). Job DescriptionProject Leadership & Execution Manage all aspects of construction projects from planning and budgeting to execution and turnover. Lead project teams including superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants. Develop, maintain, and oversee project schedules using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project). Ensure all work complies with contract documents, industry standards, and client requirements. Financial Management Create and monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reports. Manage change orders, purchase orders, and pay applications. Ensure projects meet financial targets, including profitability and cash flow expectations. Client & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors. Run regular OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Resolve issues proactively and communicate impacts clearly to stakeholders. Risk, Safety & Compliance Partner with field teams to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards. Identify and manage project risks, conflicts, and schedule impacts. Ensure documentation, reporting, and project controls are accurate and up to date. Team Development Mentor project engineers and junior staff. Collaborate closely with field leadership to drive team performance and project goals. The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degreein Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5-10+ yearsof project management experience with a general contractor. Proven experience managingHealthcareand/orK-12 projectsof$20M+construction value. Strong understanding of K-12 construction process and / or AHCA Inspection experience(if applicable), infection control, interim life safety measures, and other healthcare compliance processes. Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, P6, MS Project). Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem?solving skills.
