Our solutions enable critical mission system capabilities and increase naval stealth on submarine and surface ship platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble products to engineering specifications and drawings using tools providedAssembles electronic components, subassemblies, products or systemsMaintains a neat, FOD free, safe and organized work areaSoldering and assembly of switches, PCB’s, and similar assemblies per IPC-A-610 AND IPC-J-STD-001 and route wires per IPC-A-620Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in fixture or other holding deviceCrimps, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, press fits or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in placeMounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panelConnect component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals and contact pointsInstalls finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases, housings, and cansAssembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs and switches to assembliesPerforms intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching and color-coding parts and assembliesAdjust or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristicsReports defective materials or questionable conditions to department supervisorRequired Skills1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or technical certificateHigh School diploma or equivalentThis position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export AuthorizationDesired SkillsExperience as an assembler in defense manufacturing or aerospaceAble to perform simple math (addition and subtraction, ex. look at dimension)Experience in using basic manufacturing equipment, tools and gauges such as multimeters, torque and force gauges, etcInterpersonal skills with the ability to work well on a team as well as aloneHigh motivation and driveVerbal and written communication skillsExperience with spray booth painting, conformal coatingExperience with different chemicalsSeam soldering and Acetylene Torch usePhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for an extending periodAbility to work with your hands in a repetitive cycleAbility to stand and walkBe able to lift 30lbs unassistedEligibility for benefits begins on the first day of employment to include 401k, PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, Stock Purchase Program, Life insurance and Disability!
