Superintendent - Commercial Construction
Position Summary:Landmark Builders is seeking a full-time, experienced Superintendent in Myrtle Beach, SC.Key Responsibilities:Field Operations & SupervisionLead field teams on assigned construction projects, providing direct supervision and guidance to subcontractors and Landmark personnelCreate and implement project execution plans for complex projects, adjusting as necessary to address changing needs and requirementsEnsure compliance with project plans, project specifications, and Landmark QA/QC programGenerate, maintain, and execute detailed look-ahead schedules, scheduling all subcontractors, suppliers, testing, and inspections as necessary to meet required milestonesSafety & QualityLead project safety culture and confirm adherence to Landmark Safety ProgramLead weekly onsite progress meetings with subcontractors and participate in regular Owner-Architect-Contractor meetingsCommunication & CoordinationMaintain open lines of communication with General Superintendent, Project Manager, field staff, owners, architects, subcontractors, and the entire team, keeping all parties informed of project issues and changesQualifications:Experience & Technical Knowledge5+ years of experience preferred as a commercial construction SuperintendentProven experience delivering high-end residential/commercial interior finishes across large projectsSafety focus and expertise; 30-hour OSHA certification preferredLeadership & Interpersonal SkillsProven leadership ability with an efficient personnel management approachDetail-oriented management style with strong attention to quality and complianceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh ethical standards, honesty, and integrity in all professional conductAbout Landmark Builders:Founded in 1975, Landmark Builders, Inc is a full-service commercial construction company offering general construction, design/build, construction management, and upfit/renovation services throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, and Virginia.
