Fire Suppression Service Technician(Fire Protection Technician | Fire Sprinkler & Suppression Technician)Location: Sidney, OhioEmployment Type: Full-TimePay Range: $72,800 - $110,000 per yearPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Fire Suppression Service Technician to inspect, service, and maintain critical fire protection systems that safeguard lives and property. This role is ideal for a skilled technician with strong troubleshooting abilities who takes pride in high-quality work and values safety, reliability, and professional growth.Core ResponsibilitiesInspect, maintain, and service fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and fire suppression equipmentPerform routine fire extinguisher inspections and repairsDiagnose and repair wet and dry fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps (diesel and electric), and underground componentsRespond to emergency service calls for system repairs and replacementsAssist with quoting and documenting annual inspections and repair recommendationsAccurately complete service documentation and reportsMaintain compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulationsRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in fire suppression system service and maintenance (6-10 years preferred)Proven expertise in commercial fire suppression repair and maintenanceLicenses and/or certifications related to one or more of the following systems:Fire sprinkler systems (wet and dry)Fire pumps (diesel and electric)Fire alarmsFire extinguishersBackflow systemsKitchen hood suppression systemsUnderground systemsHalon systemsStrong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBenefitsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package to support the health, financial security, and work-life balance of our employees.
