OverviewRuby on Rails Software Engineer (Consultant, Engineering & Technical Services) – Fearless is seeking a Ruby on Rails Software Engineer to support a project that provides comprehensive support and modernization services for a search engine on the federal government's hosted platform that serves over 1,500 agency websites and processes more than 200 million annual public searches. Key outcomes include migration to a new search engine technology, improved relevance and indexing, strengthened security and compliance, and increased operational efficiency through automation, containerization, and consolidated infrastructure.At Fearless, this Consultant collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality, maintainable systems across the software and data lifecycle.
