Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm Job Summary: The Hydraulics Service Write-Up Technician will measure and analyze disassembled components, primarily from hydraulic cylinders, comparing them against the original manufacturer's specifications and recommend/quote proper repairs and remanufacturing procedures. Knowledge of and previous experience working with hydraulic components will be required. Key Responsibilities: Measures disassembled components, primarily hydraulic cylinders.Compares disassembled components against the original manufacturer's specifications.Analyze components to determine parts reuse or replacement requirement.Documents the repair and provide parts lists that are required for the repair.Create customer quotes to recommend proper repairs and remanufacturing procedures.Utilization of work order software and Auto CAD programPerform all other duties as assigned. Job Requirements:A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.Five years' experience required in the analysis of hydraulic cylinder failures and recommendation of repairs, including previous experience with the repair of hydraulic components.Must be an experienced technician with a strong attention to detail.Must understand and be able to work with close tolerances.The ability to read hydraulic schematics is required.Ability and previous experience utilizing Auto CAD is preferred.Must be a self-starter and work well on own.Ability to speak with customers and vendors. Physical Requirements: This position requires lifting/carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling; Standing/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines; Dexterity Normal; Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
