Project Engineer / Manager

A trusted general contractor with over 25 years of experience in Southern California, is looking for a Project Engineer to join there team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to grow in construction management and be part of exciting public and private projects. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Work with the Project Manager to help keep projects on track. * Review and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project paperwork. * Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. * Keep project logs and reports up to date. * Help with scheduling, cost tracking, and pay applications. * Attend site meetings, inspections, and walkthroughs. * Assist with problem-solving when issues come up in the field. * Make sure work meets plans, specs, and safety standards. *QUALIFICATIONS:* * Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar field (preferred but not required if you have solid experience). * 3 - 5years of experience in construction or project support. * Ability to read and understand plans, specs, and contracts. * Comfortable using Microsoft Project, Excel, Word (Bluebeam is a plus). * Strong communication and organization skills. * Team player who can juggle multiple tasks and deadlines. * Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to visit job sites. *What We Offer:* * Competitive pay (based on experience) * Opportunities to learn and grow in your career Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour Benefits: * Cell phone reimbursement * Fuel card * Paid time off License/Certification: * CDL (Required) Work Location: In person
