Nurse Practitioner | Urgent Care Location: Texas Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 39-day assignment starting May 8, 2026, with our client in Texas. This role involves providing comprehensive urgent care, including various in-office procedures and potentially occupational medicine services. The schedule offers both AM (8am-4pm) and PM (3pm-11pm) shifts, and the selected professional will be expected to manage a diverse patient load as the sole provider, ensuring all charts are closed by the end of each shift. Responsibilities and Duties Be ready to manage all urgent care cases and procedures immediately, without clinical training. Serve as the sole provider for the facility. Ensure all patient charts are closed by the end of each shift. Address B&B urgent care cases. Perform in-office procedures, including Incision and Drainage (I&D), sutures, foreign body removal, and toenail removal. Provide occupational medicine services such as workplace injury evaluations and drug testing, where applicable.
