Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate Receives, organizes, stores, pulls and ships merchandise/supplies used to fulfill customer orders. Assemble and build industrial and hydraulic hose upon receiving proper training and guidance. Assist customers on Bridgestone HosePower's retail counter with guidance, hose repair and order processing. Hourly compensation is commensurate with experience and includes bonus pay. This position may require driving a company vehicle; a valid driver's license and clean driving history is required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Shipping and receiving, including unloading and processing of itemsMove, store and transfer materials, supplies and merchandise in and around warehouseMaintain stock in an organized fashion on shelves or in proper locationsDisplays merchandise, suggests selections that meet customer's needs, and emphasizes selling points of article such as quality and utilityDiscusses use and features of various parts; able to make recommendations based on needsResolves or alerts management regarding inventory issues or customer concernsAssemble and build industrial and hydraulic hose to appropriate specifications and standardsUpholds environmental health and safety standardsPerforms other duties as assigned.Qualifications Prior experience in an industrial or hydraulic warehouse settingAbility to operate a forkliftAbility to lift/move product weighing more than 50 poundsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamAbility to complete transactions with a high degree of accuracyAbility to manage time and complete assigned tasks with a high degree of attention to detailAbility to effectively interact with staff and vendorsAbility to attentively listen and effectively communicate in oral and written format
