Ride Maintenance Technician
Magic Springs Theme & Water Park — Arkansas’s only theme and water park combo — is seeking a dedicated Ride Maintenance Technician to perform skilled work within our maintenance department. From troubleshooting mechanical systems to performing preventive maintenance, their work ensures every ride delivers excitement, reliability, and unforgettable experiences. This position is ideal for a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in precision, teamwork, and maintaining complex mechanical and electrical equipment in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Maintain the highest standards of safety on all attractions and rides.Perform daily safety checks on park attractions and rides and ensure repairs are completed.Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on rides, equipment and facilities ensuring complete compliance of the manufacturer’s specifications and park’s standards.Respond to all maintenance-related radio calls in a timely and appropriate manner. Communicate when equipment failures result in attraction downtime or closures.Work with team members to ensure complete compliance with the manufacturer’s specifications and park’s standards.Maintain all appropriate documentation.Communicate with the Ride Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager any hazards that arise to ensure the safe completion of repairs.Support seasonal preparation and shutdown activities.Operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment safely and responsibly.Collaborate with manager to perform other duties as assigned.Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies.Qualifications:Must have basic knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electricity.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Ability to multi-task, work independently or with a team, and take initiative.Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions while performing physical tasks.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during the park’s operating season.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
