Merchandise Manager

Job Title: Director of Retail Production Duration: 06 Months Contract + Possibility of Extension/FTELocation: New York, NY 10019Pay Rate: $35 - $40 an hourJOB SUMMARYQualifications:- 3-5+ years of experience in apparel and accessories production or product development- Diverse market experience across various apparel segments including men's, juniors, and children's wear- Strong skills in cost negotiation with vendors and product engineering- Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Textile Science, Fashion Design, or a related field (Preferred)- Music merchandise production experience is a plus.Responsibilities:- Assist in executing merchandise needs for artist-specific e-commerce and touring campaigns- Negotiate and cost-engineer products to meet retail targets and margins- Assist in overseeing pre-production timelines and compliance with product specifications- Assist with managing supplier relationships and product integrity throughout the development process.Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
