Our goal is to help every child reach their full potential through quality care, structured learning, and positive guidance. We are currently seeking a part-time Bus Driver to join our team. Summary We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Bus Driver to support our daily operations at America’s Choice Childcare Center – Bissonnet. This role is responsible for safely transporting children to and from the center while ensuring a positive and engaging experience. Your contribution will be vital in supporting our mission of providing exceptional care and education. Responsibilities Safely operate the school bus and transport children to and from the childcare center. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and transportation policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bus environment. Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of all children during transit. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, children, and parents regarding transportation matters. Report any vehicle issues, safety concerns, or incidents promptly. Support a calm, positive, and secure environment for children during transportation. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with school bus endorsement. Prior experience driving a school bus or transporting children preferred. Strong knowledge of traffic laws and child transportation safety procedures. Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to manage children’s behavior and ensure safety during transit. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Ability to perform basic vehicle safety and mechanical checks.
