Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer located in Seymour, IN. The Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer will lead manufacturing process efforts to ensure final products meet standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing supporting quality control inspections, performing R&D trial, analyzing product quality data, generating work standards an technical packages, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance production processes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Polymer Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited university2–3 years of experience as a Process/Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment; plastics or polymer processing experience preferredProven experience supporting production lines, including ownership of documentation, compliance, and training of cross-functional teamsStrong working knowledge of R&D projects, including formulations, DOE, and statistical analysesHands-on experience performing equipment troubleshooting and tracking major manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, waste reduction, and yieldStrong technical expertise in analytical and physical testing methods, including MFI, Flexural, Tensile, FTIR, and NIRAbility to generate, maintain, and report manufacturing documentation with high accuracy and organizationProficiency in core Six Sigma and problem-solving methodologies, including RCA, 8D, CAPA, and PPAPExperience with preventive maintenance programs and proven record of utilizing work orders through CMMSPreferred QualificationsExperience in plastics manufacturing, compounding, extrusion, or injection molding.Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification from an accredited institution (ASQ)ISO 9001, GMP, and EH&S internal auditor certifications"Annual base salary range for this role is between $80K to $100K"BenefitsPTO, Sick DaysInsurance, Dental and Vision401(K)
