ServiceNow Developer

DataStaff, Inc. is currently seeking a ServiceNow Developer to fill a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC. *This role is mostly remote; however, the selected candidate must come onsite for meetings.Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated ServiceNow Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow applications and solutions. You will be responsible for customizing and configuring the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs, as well as providing ongoing support and maintenanceResponsibilities:Design and Development: Create and manage ServiceNow applications and modules, including form design, workflow creation, and custom scripting.Configuration: Customize ServiceNow modules and applications to fit the specific needs of the business, including incident management, change management, problem management, and more.Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems or platforms using web services, APIs, or other integration tools.Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve issues with the ServiceNow platform, including debugging and troubleshooting problems with scripts, workflows, or integrations.Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to understand requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.Best Practices: Implement best practices for ServiceNow development and administration, including coding standards, testing procedures, and change management processes.Upgrades and Maintenance: Participate in system upgrades and maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Required Skills:3 Years - Proven ServiceNow experience3 Years - Web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3)3 Years - Basic understanding of ITIL v3 methodologies3 Years - Understanding of enterprise IT architecture3 Years - Working knowledge of relational databases3 Years - Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JAVA Script, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, etc.)5 Years - Impeccable time-management and record keeping5 Years - The ability to take complex end-user requirements to code5 Years - A positive can-do attitude & willingness to learn5 Years - A strong personal commitment to quality service3 Years - The ability to work independently and with a team3 Years - LDAP directories, such as: Active Directory, eDirectory, OpenLDAP.5 Years - Excellent communicationThis position is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
