Electrical Engineer - Entry Level

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: · Design, develop, test or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military or scientific use. · Design, develop, and test the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting. · Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability and safety of certain design models. · Estimate time and cost to complete projects. · Simulate and test machine/structure/system operation. · Investigate and test vendors’ and competitors’ products. · Create sensor group. · Create and route harness. · Modify schematics. · Interpret prints and standards. · Design detail/model supporting brackets. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · Bachelor's degree in engineering with 0-2 years’ experience. REQUIRED SKILLS: · Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations. · Ability to perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction and installation standards and specifications. · Ability to work on 2D/3D models of senor group, harness, schematics, and supporting fixturing. · Ability to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects. · Previous experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering field. · Experience with electrical routing. · Blueprint reading experience. DESIRED SKILLS: · Manufacturing knowledge. · Schematics knowledge. · Previous work experience in electrical. · Creo experience. SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED: · Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability. · Team player and detail oriented. · Critical thinking skills. · Good organizational and time management skills. · Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. · Flexibility to adapt to the frequent priority shifts of changing business demand.
