Help Desk Technician

SNI Technology has partnered with a client in recruiting for a Tier 1 Help Desk Technician in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Tier 1 Help Desk Technician will provide front line support for users and remote location users. The position responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. This person provides solutions to customer problems to ensure customer satisfaction and productivity. This involves researching, analyzing, resolving, and responding to intermediate-to-complex problems via telephone, e-mail, and callbacks. This position has frequent contact with end-users and Managers from all internal Departments; also, may have contact with third-party software, network and hardware vendors, resellers, or distributors. This position ensures detailed call logging in work order system.Job QualificationsStrong attention to detailEnthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with othersStrong interpersonal communication skillsPossess general knowledge of hardware and software platforms. Understand the general business functions and a conceptual understanding of each unit’s activitiesAbility to explain technical concepts to non-technical users in a clear and concise mannerAbility to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedure(s)Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situationsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Education or Formal TrainingCompTIA A+ certified or obtained within the first 90-days of employment is a must-have requirement.Obtain a second certification of Network+ or Security+ or equivalent within 180 days of employmentHigh School diploma or equivalent.
