Senior Litigator

A dynamic, data-driven collections company is seeking aSenior Litigatorto handle complex litigation matters and oversee cases from inception through resolution. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with 2–3 years of litigation experience to join a dynamic legal team and take ownership of high-value cases.Responsibilities:Manage a docket of commercial collection litigation matters from filing to post-judgment enforcement.Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs in state and federal courts.Represent the company at court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.Handle post-judgment enforcement actions, including garnishments, levies, and turnover proceedings.Advise internal stakeholders on litigation strategy, risk assessment, and compliance considerations.Coordinate and oversee outside counsel where necessary.Stay updated on legal developments in collections, MCA, and creditor's rights.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active bar admission inNew YorkNew Jerseyand/orConnecticuta plus.2–3 years of litigation experience, preferably in collections, commercial finance, or creditor's rightsA background in litigation experience with merchant cash advance (MCA) is strongly preferredStrong oral and written advocacy skills with courtroom experience.Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.J-18808-Ljbffr
