Our network features over 590+ physicians and specialists providing high quality care in more than 50 pediatric medical and surgical sub-specialties.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwRXNEj6bHkWhat Awaits You?Career growth and developmentTuition AssistanceDiverse and collaborative working environmentAffordable and comprehensive benefits packageWork Hours: Night Shift: Full-time/ -10 hour shift 8pm-6:30am with weekend rotations.Work Location: Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, Saint Petersburg, FL- Core LaboratoryPosition Summary:The laboratory medical technologist performs routine and specialized tests independently or with minimal supervision in one or various sections in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.Recognizes the clinical significance of each test performed and reports results within established time frames.Actively supports the department's continuous quality improvement and customer service goals through modeling of appropriate behavior and by providing a work environment conducive to attaining these goals.Minimum Qualifications:Education:* Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or related science, or applicable Associate's degree* Clinical Laboratory Technologist License in all areas of responsibility from the State of FloridaExperience:* Ability to participate in one or more project teams* Ability to understand and react effectively to the age-specific needs unique to patients* Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written* Possess knowledge of and the ability to use computers, automated instruments, and mechanical apparatus* Ability to meet deadlines***Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.Salary Range: Minimum 27.85/hour - Maximum 44.57/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
