Solid Surface Fabricator

*OVERVIEW:* *WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING* Based out of our Byron Center, MI facility, the Solid Surface Fabrication team fabricates solid surface countertops. Day-to-day responsibilities include: · Job layout and optimization of materials · Properly measuring and cutting materials (includes use of saws, routers, sanders, etc.) · Building countertops to customer specifications · Preparing and labeling countertops for shipment -This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance for uniform, protective footwear, and PPE. *REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE* · High School diploma/GED required · Prior fabrication or construction experience required *REQUIRED SKILLS* · Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and fabricate from stick templates · Ability to read a tape measure and understand dimensions · Ability to effectively work and communicate with fellow employee owners · Self-starter · Dependable and reliable · Desire to “do things right the first time” · Openness and desire to learn new skills · Ability to work safely and efficiently at all times · Ability to work neatly and maintain a clean and safe work area · Strong positive work ethic *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* · Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 100 lbs · Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day #WFGRANDRAPIDS Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week Benefits: * Employee assistance program * Referral program Location: * Byron Center, MI 49315 (Required) Work Location: In person
