Order Selector The work you do as an Order Selector allows us to keep our stores stocked and your communities fed and healthy. If you think being able to do that is cool, keep reading! As an Order Selector, no one day is ever the same. You are on-the-go throughout your entire shift, using a voice-controlled system to select full-case grocery, frozen and/or other perishable products using a ride-on electric pallet jack. You'll palletize cases and prepare pallets to ship to your local store(s) lifting up to 87 lbs. at any given time to shoulder level and up to 76.5lbs overhead, throughout an entire shift what a workout! You do all this while being safety focused. If you're ready to make a difference, and be a part of a cohesive team, let's talk!Main responsibilities include:Driving an electric pallet jack.Receive audible orders on the vocollect system.Work in cold temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to -20 below zero.Pull orders at a minimum of 100% using the pallet jack.Ensure the product is stable and correctly stacked on the pallet.Report any unsafe conditions during the shift immediately (ex. rack damage, liquid spills, etc.).Placing damage in designated drop off area.Alert to safety rules at all times.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Must be accurate and detail oriented.Must be able to drive an electric pallet jack to pull orders with.Must be able to work well with other associates, a team player.Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 90 lbs., and stand / walk on feet for up to 8 -12 hours per day.Must be able to maintain a good steady production pace for entire shift.Must be able to maintain production expectation of 100%.Will manually build pallets, lifting heavy boxes to heights up to six feet.Dependable, maintaining good attendance.Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
