Project Interface and Construction Supervisor
Must be a GC Holder or USCWE DO NOT WORK WITH 3RD PARTYSMUST WORK ON A W2SOFT's client, located in Brooklyn, NY, is looking for a Project Interface and Construction Supervisor for a long term contract assignment.The Project Interface and Construction Supervisor coordinates interfaces among LNG Operations, project teams, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders while supporting the safe, compliant, timely, and cost-effective execution of construction projects at the Greenpoint LNG plant.ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate project interfaces, schedules, dependencies, and information exchanges across LNG Operations, project teams, contractors, consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders.Identify and define interfaces early; develop, maintain, and track an interface matrix for tie-ins between existing facilities and new installations.Coordinate technical interface and project meetings, including pre-construction, safety, field, progress, and SIMOPS meetings, and document decisions, actions, and proposed resolutions.Represent LNG Operations in project and contractor interactions and promote clear, tactful communication among stakeholders.Review design schematics, engineering documents, operating procedures, construction standards, permits, and policies; consolidate operational comments and verify that piping, electrical, and other plant interfaces are addressed.Develop and maintain interdependency schedules for SIMOPS, shutdowns, tie-ins, purging, isolations, access, investigations, liquefaction needs, and vaporization needs.Coordinate contractor and Operations requests associated with shutdowns, purging, isolations, access, investigations, and other activities that may affect plant operations.Under the Organization's supervision, direct and support construction activities to meet project scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and operational requirements.Implement and follow construction policies and procedures; ensure work complies with company standards, PSC Code requirements, OSHA requirements, municipal rules, permits, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.Monitor safety, performance, productivity, workload, and project progress to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Facilitate Training or onboarding of contractors.Standardize and coordinate operational and project procedures where practical to reduce conflicts and disruption to plant activities.Maintain accurate project and construction records, including SOPs, work-order history, daily completion reports, sketches, qualification records, design-document exchanges, status reports, time sheets, and per diem documentation, as applicable.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Process, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline, or substantial directly relevant construction and field experience.Minimum of 5 years of natural gas or utility construction experience, with engineering or operational experience in LNG, power, or oil and gas facilities strongly preferred.Technical ability to read and understand design schematics, engineering documents, operating procedures, construction standards, policies, and permits.Knowledge of construction and natural gas industry safety practices and applicable federal safety programs, policies, and regulations.For New York assignments, knowledge of PSC Code requirements and applicable NYS, NYC DOT, municipal, and local rules and regulations.Experience planning and coordinating plant shutdowns, SIMOPS, tie-ins, or other activities involving multiple engineering and operational disciplines is preferred.Strong written and oral communication, planning, organization, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and computer skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and interact tactfully with contractors, customers, and diverse stakeholder groups.Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience with Primavera and Urbint is a plus.Ability to use required personal protective equipment and comply with site-specific safety requirements.Ability to pass a DOT physical.
