Compensation and Benefits Manager

We hope you will join us in this journey!What You Will Do: As the Compensation and Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for the management, design, and administration of employee compensation and benefit programs. This includes all CTB’s US locations and assisting non-US entities. What You Will Accomplish:Lead the compensation framework programs & processes – creating guidelines on benchmark data and developing innovative structures for the US and Global entities ensuring competitive compensation ranges to attract and retain top talent.Lead annual salaried and hourly compensation review process, the annual performance management program, and participate in applicable compensation surveys on an annual basis.Educate, facilitate, and provide information to the Leadership teams to assist them in managing their teams and departments from a Total Rewards perspective. Oversee employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, ancillary, and other company-offered programs.Evaluate, with Broker assistance, benefit programs to ensure competitiveness, compliance, cost effectiveness, and the ability to attract and retain top-quality talent.Act as the subject matter expert in benefits committee meetings, providing recommendations for updates to the benefit plans based on market data, plan experience, and organizational goals.Manage the daily compensation processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy within the HCM system.Position Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field; Will consider equivalent combination of coursework and relevant work history. Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources with 3+ years of direct management experience in Compensation and/or Benefits.Certification(s): Certified Benefits Professional, Certified Compensation Professional, or related certifications highly preferred.Functional Skills: Excellent strategic, organizational planning and executing skills; experience with multi-state self-insured benefits plans; Strong knowledge of ACA, FLSA, ERISA, DOL, and other related regulations; Previous experience benchmarking and administering compensation strategies; comfortable balancing multiple and competing priorities.Technology Aptitude/Skills: Exceptional experience with HRIS applications required – experience with Oracle preferred; Proficient with MS Office Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; will interact with levels within the organization. Reports To: Executive Vice President & Chief Administrative OfficerCore Hours: 8:00a-5:30p (schedule can be somewhat flexible; will work 8-9 hours within this timeframe)Typical Work Week: M-F; some weekends for urgent matters; 45 hours a week on averageDirect Reports: 1Work Conditions: Primarily an office environment with visits to manufacturing areasTravel: Up to 15%
