Registered Nurse | AMs, PMs, NOCs (overnight) | Part-Time This job has pay differentials for PMs and NOCs. PMs $2.00 and NOCs $1.50 Current RN/LPN openings: Days 24 hours biweekly, 6am-2:30pm, most days memory care (one day on rehab), every other weekend and every other holiday required 64 hours biweekly, 6a-2:30p, rehab, every other weekend and every other holiday required PMs 40 hours biweekly, 2:15pm-10:45pm, long term care, every other weekend and every other holiday required 72 hours biweekly, 2:15pm-10:45pm, long term care, every other weekend and every other holiday required 72 hours biweekly, 2:15pm-10:45pm, memory care, every other weekend and every other holiday required 40 hours biweekly, 2:15p-10:45pm, memory care, every other weekend and every other holiday required Supervises nursing case activities to include, but not limited to: Understands resident diagnosis and helps to establish appropriate approaches and goals Develops individual resident care plans and revises as necessary Interprets resident care plans to LPNs, Graduate Nurses, Nurse Techs, Medication Technicians and CNAs. Communicates resident status through documentation and verbal reports. Reviews resident medical records, orders and nursing care plans on a regular basis. Provides direct resident care Participates in care conferences in order to provide input into multi-disciplinary resident plan of care. Utilizes the nursing process in the execution of general nursing procedures (Assessment, Planning, Intervention and Evaluation). Administers medications and treatments according to physician orders and standards of practice. Assists physicians during treatments and during “physician progress visits”. Supervises LPNs in the performance of complex nursing functions. Prepares work schedules and work assignments for LPNs, Graduate Nurses, Nurse Techs, Medication Technicians and CNAs. Completes competencies of LPNs, Graduate Nurses, Nurse Techs, Medication Technicians and CNAs and demonstrates nursing techniques and procedures as opportunities present themselves. Conducts assessments on other neighborhoods for residents that have a change in condition for LPNs, Graduate Nurses, Nurse Techs, Medication Technicians and any other nurse requesting additional support. Mentors and supervises any new Nurse Techs and Graduate Nurses and knows and respects the limitations placed on their practice.  Monitors use and safety of equipment and supplies. Counsels residents and family members when necessary. Informs Clinical Coordinator/Director of Nursing and Nursing Home Administrator of resident changes or facility emergencies as needed. Communicates and cooperates with other departments to ensure a continuum of quality care.
