Test Engineer
OverviewWe are looking for a rigorous, technically minded engineer to join our Product Development team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Test Engineer, you will build and own the systems, procedures, and data that drive product decisions. This role sits at the intersection of engineering discipline and hands-on problem solving. You will collaborate closely with design engineers, own your test programs end to end, and apply statistical and reliability thinking to bring clarity to complex development challenges. Our Colorado Springs office is minutes from singletrack and offers more than 300 sunny days a year.ResponsibilitiesIndependently develop test plans, procedures, and methods for SRAM product testingCollaborate with engineers to design, build, manage, and continuously improve automated development test systems for mechatronic devicesCharacterize product behavior, analyze test data, and communicate results to support product developmentResolve complex engineering issues associated with testingApply statistics and reliability principles to develop test plansIndependently write, review, and release test proceduresIncorporate continuous improvement concepts, systems, and tools into daily workPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)3+ years of relevant experienceExperience in test execution and issue managementExperience with mechatronic and sensing technologiesExperience with electronics, PCBAs, and firmware/software (preferred, not required)TECHNICAL SKILLS:LabVIEW and/or Python (application development, scripting, and modules)3D modelingFailure analysisCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Base salary starting at $75,000 with the potential to go up to 40% higher based on experience and skillsEligible for annual corporate bonus based on company and individual performanceWORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL:On-site role in Colorado Springs, CO -- relocation expected for non-local candidatesOpen floor plan office environment and test lab setting with exposure to machineryWillingness to travel domestically and internationally required (approximately 1-3 one-week trips per year)About SRAMSRAM LLC is one of the world's largest suppliers of components to the bike industry.
