Solutions Architect
iPaaS.com provides an integration Platform as a Service that's designed to transmit, translate, and orchestrate data between software systems. Our API-first platform is built with a modern microservices architecture, which can support the largest of use cases, while also providing the transparency and predictability that growing organizations need.We’re excited to add a Solutions Architect to our team. This role will primarily focus on gathering and documenting requirements for new integrations from customers, internal team members, partner agencies, and technology companies. This includes documenting requirements for the integration, creating mappings, and supporting the creation of end-user documentation (inclusive of video and live demos).To be successful, this person must exhibit self-motivation and act as a catalyst to drive projects forward. While we are a well-established business servicing enterprises, government organizations, and national sports franchises, with the release of the latest version of our platform, we are in start-up mode. Your job isn’t simply to execute processes, it’s to use your technical and organization skills to help us achieve additional successes.Job ResponsibilitiesIntegration Discovery and OversightConduct discovery sessions to learn about integration requirements. These sessions may include prospects, customers, agency partners, and technology partners.Document the requirements for integrations of third-party systems to iPaaS.com, both for the initial use case as well as for the future.Becoming a subject matter expert in the technologies we integrate with, inclusive of how the API and UI are structured and behave.Test the API and UI to understand the business logic behind how the software operates and be able to convey that to our development team.Answer questions throughout the development process.Partner with Project Management to ensure a timely delivery of the integration.Support QA throughout the testing phase.Support launch efforts inclusive of creating technical content for listing the integration on third-party app stores, demonstrating how the integration works, and leading documentation efforts.Solutions ConsultingWork with sales and partnership team members to demo the platform to prospective agency partners and customers.Take requirements presented to iPaaS.com and propose creative solutions within the current feature set to address the prospect’s or customer’s needs.Serve as a primary technical point of contact for customers, prospects, agencies, external integrators and technology partners.About YouYou’re excited by the idea of a role that you can bring your experience and expertise to. Solutions Architect Role Requirements2 - 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Developer, Solution Consultant, Information Architect or similar role.1 - 2 years experience in a customer-facing role ideally in a B2B company. Experience with documenting requirements for integrating systems.Deep understanding of how technology impacts business and vice versa. Strong documentation skills and experience in writing requirements for developers. Ability to easily pick up new technologies.Ability to read and understand API documentation. Experience with interacting with APIs in Postman or similar tool.Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.Creative thinker with a passion for technology and innovation.
