Quality Assurance Manager

We are a specialized manufacturer and distributor of high precision socket head cap screws. As an AS9100 certified facility, we take pride in our systems and our quality products. We are a small-team environment where every employee has a direct impact on the parts we supply and the customers we support. We are looking for a meticulous, hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality department. You won't just be sitting behind a desk; you will be the guardian of our AS9100 system, the expert on our shop floor and the primary point of contact for external auditors and customers. *Key Responsibilities* * Quality Assurance Management * Quality Management System (QMS): Maintain and improve our AS9100 (ISO 9001) compliance. Lead external audits. * Inspection & Measurement: Oversee and at times participate in first-article (FAI), in-process, and final inspections. Ensure all products meet strict dimensional, mechanical and metallurgical specifications. * Correct Action: Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA's to eliminate recurring non-conformances. * Supplier Quality: Manage the approved vendor list and oversee the quality of incoming materials and outside processing (heat treating, plating etc.). * Training: Mentor the team on quality standards, blueprint reading and proper tool usage. * Documentation: Manage all certifications, material test reports and QMS documentation. *Qualifications* * Quality Assurance * Experience: Minimum 5 years in Quality Assurance within a screw manufacturing or similar industrial environment. * Standards: Knowledge of AS9100D & ISO 9001 * Technical Skills: Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, thread gages and optical comparators. Experience with Keyence IM machines a plus. Ability to read blueprints and GD&T * Fasteners Knowledge: Familiarity with NAS, MS standards for socket head cap screws a DEFINITE PLUS!
