We help define, scope, and operationalize critical initiatives across the business. As part of a small team that works closely with the leadership team, you will be at the center of the inner workings of how a company makes both strategic and operational decisions to help bring a shared vision to life. You will get your hands dirty across multiple functional areas – from Business Development and Finance, to Product and Science, and more. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter with a strong foundation in healthcare, is energized by the unknown, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.As a Manager, Strategy & Business Operations you will:Work closely with the leadership team to identify, develop, and implement high-priority, strategic initiativesProvide strategic insight to complex, cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment with business prioritiesLeverage data and business insights to pinpoint operational needs and recommend process improvementsSpearhead the development and execution against detailed project plans to support successful launchesConduct market research to validate hypotheses and identify opportunities to accelerate growthSupport the evaluation of strategic opportunities (e.g. partnerships, acquisitions, etc.)Contribute to the development of Board meeting materials and investor presentationsAct as a key resource in resolving critical and time-sensitive challenges facing the businessAbout you:BA or BS degree4–6 years of experience in consulting, business operations, corporate strategy, or similar role at a high-growth startup; experience in health tech industry preferredProven track record of delivering results, even when outside past expertiseStrategic, structured problem-solver who can break down ambiguous asks into concrete plansAbility to operate autonomously and influence stakeholders at all levelsCapable of owning the details, while still keeping the big picture in mindAdaptable to shifting priorities, but can bring stability to a dynamic environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to tell a story focused on insights and data, not just a summary of data aloneHave a knack for learning new things fastHighly proficient with G Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), macOSPluses:Experience with Tableau, Thoughtspot, HubspotExperience working with health systems or payersExpected Interview Process:1) Recruiter Screen 2) Manager Screen 3) Virtual Onsite 4) OfferExpected Pay For This Role:There are 3 distinct parts to your Helix offer: 1) Base Salary 2) Annual Bonus 3) EquityExpected Helix Base: $109,000 - $148,000Expected Helix Discretionary Annual Bonus: 10% of your annual salaryEquity: We offer generous equity at Helix.
