By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM:
Our products are complex, integrated hardware-software products in which state-of-the-art electrical systems for power, compute, communications, and controls play a critical, differentiating role. We have successfully delivered a dozen products and have another dozen in the works. We need a senior, experienced, electrical engineering leader to oversee the team developing the electrical subsystems for these products. You will own a large, multi-discipline electrical team and will be responsible for independently developing and executing a comprehensive technical vision across our products. You will be a key senior leader and will partner with other engineering and production teams to make your vision a reality. You will independently lead and manage your team and will be responsible for resource planning, hiring, and mentoring your team members. Your vision is key to the growth and success of our products and will have a meaningful impact on U.S. military command and control capabilities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Oversee a 40+ member electrical engineering department, including electrical architecture, PCB design, harness design, firmware development, system integration, and test
Own the design and integration of electrical subsystems for multiple products simultaneously
Drive the transition of electrical designs from prototype to production
Independently lead people management functions for the entire team, including overseeing personnel growth, resource planning, and hiring
Review electrical engineering designs and oversee the definition and implementation of best practices
Partner with mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and supply chain leaders to integrate electrical designs into products and repeatably build them in production
Manage electrical engineering resources across current and emergent needs to maintain on-time delivery and reliable execution of program requirements
Author and drive a compelling vision for our electrical engineering roadmap that helps to guide our products into the next generation of features
Partner with business leaders to triage limited resources against new opportunities, using your business acumen to inform product planning
