Job Title: Operating Room (OR) Surgical TechnologistFacility: Hartford HealthCareShift: Evening ShiftSchedule:Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM40 hours per week (5 × 8-hour shifts)On-call requirements applyPosition OverviewHartford HealthCare is seeking an experienced Operating Room Surgical Technologist to support a high-acuity surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across multiple specialties and be comfortable working evening shifts with on-call responsibilities.Shift & On-Call RequirementsEvening Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PMWeekend Call: One 24-hour call shift (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) within a 4‑week scheduleWeekday Call: Two weekday call shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) within a 4‑week scheduleRequired QualificationsMinimum 2+ years of experience as an OR Surgical TechnologistActive BLS certification (American Heart Association – AHA required)Demonstrated experience in a variety of surgical specialties (see below)Surgical Experience RequiredCandidates must have hands-on experience assisting with the following procedures:UrologyGynecology (GYN)Breast & Plastic SurgeryOrthopedics, including Total Joint procedures with MakoGeneral Surgery (Open and Robotic)Facility has two DaVinci robotic OR roomsVascular Surgery: Some cases performed in Interventional Radiology (IR) with OR supportColorectal SurgeryPodiatryPride Health provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, company-paid life and long-term disability insurance, and optional supplemental life insurance for employees, spouses, and children.
