This role focuses on securing the client, backend, and content distribution layers of our games, with a strong emphasis on game integrity, asset protection, and secure platform engineering.This highly technical, hands-on role requires someone who can operate across game engines, backend systems, and cloud infrastructure, and who can build scalable security solutions embedded directly into development pipelines.What You Will Do1. Secure Game Clients & Content PipelinesLead initiatives to harden asset bundles and content delivery pipelinesDesign and implement:Signed asset manifests and validation mechanismsIntegrity verification for downloaded contentSecure bundle loading controls and trusted source enforcementExpiration and validation of CDN-delivered metadataIdentify and eliminate risks such as:Leaked internal endpointsExposure of hidden or test featuresReverse-engineering vectors via client assets2. Evolve Game Integrity & Signature SystemsRedesign and strengthen signature and secret management modelsDrive:Per-game and per-platform secret isolationSecure key storage and rotation strategiesBackward-compatible signature evolutionReduce systemic risk from shared cryptographic implementations3. Strengthen Third-Party SDK SecurityBuild and maintain a governance model for third-party SDKsLead:SDK inventory and permission analysisRemoval of unused or high-risk integrationsSecurity review and approval workflows for new SDKsMonitoring of vulnerabilities and version driftPartner with engineering teams to sandbox or isolate high-risk SDKs4. Embed Security into Game DevelopmentWork directly with game teams (Unity and backend) to:Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, GitHub Actions)Automate scanning, validation, and enforcementImprove secure coding practices across client and server codebasesSupport development across:Unity (client)ASP.NET Core backendsReact and Angular frontends5. Build Secure Cloud-Native SystemsDesign and implement security controls across AWS environments, including:IAM and access control modelsContainerized workloads (ECS, EKS, ECR)EC2-based services and supporting infrastructurePartner with platform teams to secure:Deployment pipelinesRuntime environmentsSecrets and configuration management (SSM, SCPs)6. Automate Security at ScaleBuild tools and automation using Python, C#, and BashDevelop infrastructure-as-code security patterns using:Terraform, CDK, and CloudFormationConfiguration management tools such as AnsibleIntegrate security into artifact management (JFrog) and developer workflows7.
