Job Title: CMS APS – Backend/full-stack Java Software Engineer Software Engineer IILocation: Remoteon Kforce W2Department: APS Product Development TeamExperience: 10+ YearsShare your resumes to gopi@brillfy.com /divya@brillfy.comWe are looking for a Software Engineer II to join the APS Product Development Team supporting Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) programs focused on detecting and preventing fraud, waste, and abuse in government-sponsored health programs.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, AWS, ActiveMQ/Amazon MQ, SQS, Docker, and Kubernetes, along with experience in Agile/SAFe environments.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Java and Spring Boot.Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.Define API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger.Implement synchronous REST and asynchronous messaging solutions.Work with ActiveMQ, Amazon MQ, and SQS.Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, estimation, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Write unit and automated tests and participate in code reviews.Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, DevSecOps engineers, and other stakeholders.Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement.Required Skills:5+ years of software development experience.Strong Java and Spring Boot experience.RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.ActiveMQ, Amazon MQ, and/or SQS.Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.OpenAPI/Swagger.AWS services including S3, EC2, EKS, RDS, CloudWatch, MQ, and SQS.GitHub and Jenkins CI/CD.JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, and Selenium.SQL and experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.Python, Bash scripting, and Linux.Terraform/IaC experience.Monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, JMeter, or CloudWatch.Experience with SAFe/Scrum, Jira, and Confluence.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.Preferred Skills:SAFe Agile certification.Healthcare IT experience.Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulatory requirements.CMS processes and standards.Experience with Angular and/or React.Experience converting UI/UX wireframes and prototypes into functional applications.Interested candidates can share their updated resume and contact details. gopi@brillfy.com#Java #SpringBoot #JavaDeveloper #SoftwareEngineer #Microservices #AWS #Kubernetes #Docker #ActiveMQ #AmazonMQ #SQS #RESTAPI #OpenAPI #Swagger #Jenkins #Terraform #JUnit #Selenium #Cucumber #CMS #HealthcareIT #RemoteJobs
