Database Administrator (PostgreSQL

• Create the database/tablespaces and scheduling the maintenance jobs • Managing database security/integrity and backup procedures • Understand the complexities of advanced techniques – e.g. table partitioning • Experience in Postgres streaming replication and fix • Experience in Postgres EFM and patroni configuration across multiple servers • Backup and restore the database and clusters • Experience on pgdump and analyze and reindexes • Experience on Failover and switchover the servers and fix • Experience in migrations and upgrade of database in heterogeneous platform • Database manager/database configuration settings tuning • Database performance monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting • Adhere to ITIL processes and ability to work in PROD, DEV, TEST and QA environments. • Unix shell and Perl scripting experience • Database/Schema Refreshes • DB User/Access/Roles management • Create the databases objects like tablespace/tables/index/views and etc... • Provide DB Capacity Planning analysis, design & implement data archiving, purging solutions & partitioning solutions Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,787.49 - $120,260.72 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Phoenix, AZ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
