Cybersecurity SME
Position contingent upon contract awardAs the Cybersecurity SME, you will have a background in risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, and IT defense strategies to support critical government and intelligence initiatives.Essential Job FunctionsConduct cybersecurity risk assessments and vulnerability analysesDesign and implement security frameworks (e.g., NIST, RMF, Zero Trust) for enterprise systemsDevelop, evaluate, and refine defense-in-depth strategies and incident response plansCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity regulationsProvide guidance on security architecture and secure system development lifecycle practicesTrack emerging threats and propose solutions to reduce cyber risk exposurePrepare detailed reports and briefings for executive leadership and technical teamsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma/GED with 10 years, Associate's with 8 years, Bachelor's with 6 years, Master's with 4 yearsKnowledge & SkillsStrong background in cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and complianceExperience with security assessment tools and practices (e.g., Nessus, Splunk, SCAP, STIGs)Knowledge of federal cybersecurity policies and standards (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53)Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience supporting cybersecurity for intelligence or defense systemsFamiliarity with cloud security, Zero Trust architecture, and endpoint protection solutionsBackground in incident response, penetration testing, or threat intelligenceExperience implementing RMF within classified environmentsSECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret SCI CI PolygraphIntrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLCwww.intrepidgs.comIntrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC.
