BuyerLocation: Rockwall, TX (On-site, 5 days/week)Function: Purchasing / ProcurementPosition OverviewSeeking a Buyer to support a fast-paced, growing manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier management, inventory planning, and sourcing of raw materials such as metals, plastics, and hardware.This opportunity is open to both high-performing individual contributors and candidates with leadership potential who are ready to take on broader ownership over time. The ideal candidate brings a balance of operational execution, analytical thinking, and curiosity to continuously improve processes and outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute purchasing strategies aligned to production and business needsManage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are metAnalyze market trends, pricing, and supply risks to inform sourcing decisionsPerform cost modeling, scenario analysis, and benchmarking to drive efficienciesPartner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and finance to ensure alignment on requirements and timelinesMonitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize stock and avoid disruptionsIdentify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and improve overall effectivenessSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chainQualificationsAssociate's degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's preferred3-5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience (manufacturing environment strongly preferred)Experience with sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiationStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisionsDemonstrated business acumen and understanding of market dynamicsNice-to-Have Experience & TraitsExperience working with Oracle ERP or similar ERP systemsExperience with private sourcing and identifying new supplier channelsStrong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and modelingTechnical aptitude and comfort working with product specifications, materials, and manufacturing processesA proactive mindset with a strong appetite to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibilityInterest in the manufacturing industry and how products are built and scaledCollaborative, team-first mentality with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationshipsAbility to operate both tactically and strategically depending on business needsStrong communication skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partnersWork Environment & Physical RequirementsOn-site in Rockwall, TX, 5 days per weekCombination of office and manufacturing floor exposureRegular use of computer and phone; occasional lifting up to 30-50 lbsAbility to work in indoor and outdoor conditions as neededAbout INSPYR SolutionsTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
