Material Handler
*Job Summary*
The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring all materials and supplies are properly received, organized, and available at the machine for production. This role involves handling paper, cartons, boxes, adhesives, and finished orders, operating material-handling equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and supporting production and shipping activities as required. The successful candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and able to work independently while following instructions.
*Key Responsibilities *
* Knowledge of supplies and there location such as paper, boxes, carton, adhesive, etc.
* Maintain supplies neatly in their proper location as they are received
* Read job pockets for order specifications and special instructions
* Ability to distinguish different grades and colors of paper
* Make sure all supplies for the next order are at the machine- die cuts blanks, cartons, etc…
* Empty carton conveyors as needed
* Monitor carton sealers – change tape tolls and clear jams
* Stack cartons in a neat and efficient manner using a durable pallet
* Transport all complete orders to shipping or to its post folding destination (Jet, Latex, etc…)
* Shrink wrap and group all skids from the same copy or order when possible
* Load or unload trucks when advised
* Work in other areas when needed or required by a Supervisor.

* Good attendance and reliability
* Ability to follow instructions and procedures
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Good physical health
* Ability to lift and handle heavy materials
* Good physical dexterity and coordination
* Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment
